We have encountered a problem with XmlPreprocess.

In one configuration file, the substituted file is supposed to contain "${base_dir}/...".
We have not been to able to achieve that.

If we try like this:
Input: ${endpoint.Prefix}/
Spreadsheet: endpoint.Prefix = "${base_dir}"

The output becomes something like: <!-- base_dir not defined -->/

You need a way to be able to "escape" the ${...} symbols so XmlPreprocess doesn't try to resolve them.  Interesting. I'll run some tests and see what I can come up with.
